Today is Sunday.

Knitting fingers on fingerless gloves is very difficult. It took me two hours to figure out how to do one finger and I haven’t finished it yet. It does look nice though, a whole lot better than the finger on the glove I knitted last year.

I saw Twilight today. I loved it. :D It was entertaining in the very same way the book was.

I bought some Christmas lights! YAY! Christmas!

I thought this post was going to be much longer but it ended up being a few sentences. I guess I don’t have as much to say as I thought I did.

:-)

Today is Chris’s birthday! But it felt more like my birthday because yesterday Chris got me a rifle!! I told him what I wanted and he found one for me that met all of my requirements. It’s a .22 Marlin 880 SQ and it’s black. And he didn’t even laugh when we went to Academy to find a case for it and I picked out one that was pink. This morning we went to the shooting range so I could try it out. I love it. Best. Boyfriend. Ever. <3

As part of Chris’s birthday present, on Monday we went to the Robinson Film Center to see a documentary of Bob Dylan concerts from the 1960s. I liked it. But I would’ve liked it even more if I had learned a few more of the songs before we went. Being able to sing along in my head would’ve made it far more entertaining. The lady next to me was singing and bouncing around in her seat. lol.

Thanksgiving was ok. Nothing particularly exciting at all. Oh! Except that I found out that Rosalie is going to fix Christmas lunch. I have no idea what kind of food we will be eating! Is there some kind of traditional Christmas food that Irish people eat?? It is a mystery! A CHRISTMAS MYSTERY! Oooh! Christmas! I’m going to put up some Christmas lights around Chris’s apartment next week. And I need to find all of my favorite Christmas music.

ENYA HAS A NEW CD! IT’S ALL WINTER MUSIC! I only found out about it today when I was reading Licia’s tweets. I squeeed and then downloaded the music from amazon. I haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet.

Tomorrow morning Amanda and I are going to go see Twilight. Yay!

I can’t stop sneezing.

I did see vampire movie this weekend, but it wasn’t Twilight. I’m not brave enough to venture out to see Edward Cullen on opening weekend with all the squeeing fangirls. Instead, I watched: Let the Right One In. A very boring and strange Swedish movie about a vampire girl. I didn’t like it at all. I’ll go see Twilight next weekend. Well, maybe. Next Saturday is Chris’s birthday and it seems like cruel and unusual punishment to drag him to see a girly vampire movie on his birthday. lol.

It was freezing at the shooting range on Saturday. And I slept the rest of Saturday afternoon. I haven’t felt very good all weekend. I don’t feel bad enough to really be sick, but I don’t feel like I’m 100% healthy either. I’m right on the edge of getting a sinus infection. My nose is all sniffly and I wake up with a sore throat but then it goes away. I really hope it doesn’t get any worse. I have a headache right now and my ears are stopped up. blah. I did drag myself out of bed this morning and went to Bossier to Michael’s to look for some black yarn. And I found some! Hoooray! So now I’m back in bed in my pj’s and I’m knitting and listening to Christmas music. The Christmas music is every so often interrupted by the sound of giant falling tree limbs. The tree man is back and finally finishing cutting down the tree.
