but most of all, I like to sing. LA LA LA!

I have been waiting for YEARS for my mother to get into her cedar chest so I could get the poems I had to write in elementary school. I NOW HAVE THOSE POEMS. I was 7.

That is a pretty good description of my summers when I was little. That’s me and Erin in the pool. And we did have a swing. I don’t remember singing all that much though. lol.

Saturday.

Erin and I thought it would be great fun to make some jewelry. So we went to hobby lobby and bought a bazillion beads. I got some stretchy bracelet thread called: Stretch Magic. During Saturday I referred to it as: MAGIC….. , Magic String, Magic Thread, Stretch Thread. I never could remember what it was actually called.

But beads are so pretty. Look at the pretty!

Unfortunately, the Magic String was the wrong size. And wouldn’t fit through the holes on the beads I had, so I couldn’t make anything at all.

This was just one of many mishaps for Saturday. Other adventures included: a bad haircut, being sleep deprived, a flat tire, and a crazy cat….

I really love my dad’s camera. I’m only finally just figuring out how to change settings. I think I might play with it some more this weekend.

Friday! Friday! Hooray!

Last night I dreamed I was watching the last episode of BSG. In my dream, they ended up on an abandoned Earth, in Washington DC, and found out from the Lincoln Memorial that Lincoln was a cyclon. Then the people who were watching the episode, were suddenly part of the storyline, and the entire earth was about to blow up and Anders was talking nonsense in front of some D.C. monuments about Ben Franklin. Then people started glowing and I don’t know…it was just nonsensical and SCARY. And woke up not even certain if I wanted to watch the last episode tonight because I was just freaked out in that way that you can only be in the middle of the night. It doesn’t seem so scary now, but last night it was VERY SCARY!

This weekend is very much a girls weekend! YAY! I’m getting my hair cut tomorrow! And then the rest of the day is spent doing happy fun girly things! Erin and I are going to ride bikes, and go out to eat lunch, and buy a few more jewelry making things and make some bracelets or something with all the beads she has been collecting. Oh…and while we bead make, we are going to watch Twilight. Woo!

Chris is on a hiking trip in Arkansas. He will be gone approximately FOREVER, which for the rest of the world is about 3 days. lol. Last night, I was very entertained by helping him pack his backpack. Things I have learned: 1) WATER IS HEAVY. OMG REALLY HEAVY! I can see why Bear Grylls would rather drink his pee than carry water around. Because WATER IS HEAVY! 2) I really like camping supplies, much in the same way that I enjoy school supplies. I like the items, but I don’t really want to have to use them. I just like them. Maybe it’s because camping things are tiny. The tiny little pot and pans and tiny little burner to heat the food on. lol.

I really do not want to be at work today. I want a nap.
