A boring post about my weekend! Woo!

Saturday morning, Chris and I went to the gun show. It was very very crowded. I don’t like crowds. They get in my way and they are slow and the time was spent trying to either get out of people’s way or get people out of my way. But I knew fish tacos would be later, so it wasn’t that bad. After fish tacos, we went to a bike shop and while we were there my mother called from an estate sale to tell me that she thought I should buy some bookcase for $11. I have no idea why it was a weird number like 11 instead of a nice round number like $10 or 15. So we had to rush from the bike shop to the estate sale and get this bookshelf, where a very bossy and hilarious old woman barked instructions at Chris as the two of them were carrying the bookcase to the truck. After we had it into the truck my mom insisted we wander through the estate sale with her and my aunt to see what they had, so we did. The whole thing was really funny to me and I already feel like I got my $11 worth out of that bookcase. Then we watched Office Space which I had never seen before. And then we went to Target. It was an unusually busy day! And I had such a good time!! That’s the busiest I’ve been on a weekend in a while. This August has been very strange though, the temperatures haven’t been bad at all. I say that and I’m sure September will be hellishly hot or something.

TODAY: I went to Michaels to buy some cupcake decorate things! Last year I tried and failed to make a TARDIS cake for my birthday. I baked the cake for it, and then there was a stupid hurricane and the power went out and I ended up eating the cake without turning it into the tardis. It was all very depressing and yucky and my birthday kind of sucked! This year, I have decided to decorate cupcakes instead. The theme of these cupcakes will be Where the Wild Things Are, because I’m currently in love with the trailer and the few songs from the soundtrack that I have heard. I saw these cupcakes posted at boingboing decorated like max and one of the wild things. It looks much less difficult than the tardis. Hopefully there won’t be a hurricane or power outages this September and I will get to actually have happy cake decorating fun! I’m going to take them to my sister’s house and we’re going to eat cupcakes and play board games! YAY! FUN!

I just got back from WalMart in Vivien, where an old man checked me out, and in the span of about 2 minutes called me: sweetie pie, honey, and baby! Half of the things I bought went rolling off the counter. :-)

Old people are so funny.

Now I am washing clothes! Woo! Exciting!

Happy Puppy Muppets Dancing!

I have my headphones with me at work today! YAY! I was listening to the Beatles on youtube and then like it sometimes happens, I ended up with the Muppets….singing the Beatles….with muppet puppies dancing. It’s very happy. Not as happy as that youtube video with the wedding people dancing, but it’s still good.

I have spent the past few minutes online looking at Magnoli Clothiers. SUCH PRETTY PRETTY CLOTHES! Pretty jackets that looks just like: Sam Tyler’s, or Nine’s, or Jack Harkness’s. AND THE SUITS! A Ten Doctor Who suit and tie and coat! One day I’m going to buy a suit like that. It’s my new life goal. Just one of them, I have others. Getting that suit isn’t my only goal. That would just be weird. Although at the moment, it does seem like it is the best most awesome one. But that’s probably because I’m incredibly tired and my brain isn’t functioning properly. I really need some sleep. I was awake until after midnight, and then I woke up at 4:45 wide awake and ready to jump out of bed and completely lacking the ability to remember how to sleep.
