I have just discovered bathrobes and I am in love. On Sunday, Erin gave me an old fuzzy bathrobe because she got a new one. I washed it and put it on and ended up wearing it all afternoon. Yay! I thought that would be the end of my bathrobing experience. But on Monday morning, I found out that I don’t have to be cold when I wake up and I’m eating breakfast! With a bathrobe, I can be warm and fuzzy and cozy! This is brilliant!! Now I am searching the internet for THE BEST BATHROBE. The one Erin gave me has a hole in the pocket and pockets are important.
The parking machine stole my quarter this morning, so instead of having the exact $8, I only had $7.75. I had to go walking all over downtown to get to the atm machine to get more money for the parking machine. And then, when I put in the $10 bill, it didn’t give me the $2 it is suppose to, because it was only taking exact change…which I had from the beginning but it ate my quarter! I HATE THAT MACHINE.
Right now I’m listening to the soundtrack for Where the Wild Things Are. It’s online for free right now at imeem and stereogum. It is happy and fun. I hope the movie doesn’t suck.
Only one more day of work this week! Friday Chris and I are off to McComb, Mississippi for his bike riding thing! Roadtrip! Yay! Yay! We went to the bookstore last night so I could get a couple of books to read this weekend since I won’t be doing much. To keep myself from reading them before the weekend gets here, I told Chris to keep the books in his car and to not let me have them no matter how much I want them. I REALLY WANT THOSE BOOKS RIGHT NOW!!! I got two YA books. One about ghosts called: A Certain Slant of Light. And another book called: Impossible. I’m not sure what Impossible is about, I didn’t read too much of the back cover. Only enough to learn that the author got the idea for it while listening to Simon and Garfunkel sing Scarborough Fair, that was enough for me to know it was a book I wanted to read.
