ADVENTURES IN KNITTING.

I finally finished the back of my sweater! YAY! I am about to start on the front! But while watching a knitting video I noticed that I don’t purl like the people in the videos purl. I don’t know what I’m doing, but I don’t wrap my yarn the same way they do. When I purl I wrap the yarn clockwise around the needle! And those video people are doing I don’t even know what with their yarn. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Is everything I’ve knitted going to suddenly unravel? Is this why the edges of my knitting is always so ugly and uneven and my sweater has weird holes in it where I increased stitches?

It is a knitting mystery.

I’m going to google it now.

It has been 100000 years since I posted!

What have I been doing? Hmmm. Right now I am knitting and drinking tea and if I could figure out a way to do it, I would also be reading Sherlock Holmes at the same time. I’m almost finished with one of the books of short stories. They are REALLY good! I wasn’t sure I would like them at all. The only thing that makes me giggle is that instead of using the word, “said” sometimes Arthur Conan Doyle uses the word “ejaculate” and this never EVER fails to make me laugh. I’m going to read all of them. And hopefully by the time I’m finished reading all of his Sherlock Holmes books, the second half of Laurie R. King’s Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes book will be out. And after that I might read Dickens. Yay for free google books!

I need to take a picture of the sweater that I’m knitting. I stopped knitting it for two months because I’m stupid and thought that BO meant something incredibly complicated when really it was something I already knew how to do. *facepalms* It wasn’t until yesterday that I decided to look up what BO meant. I got very excited when I realized that I didn’t have to learn anything new.

I also just got finished making Valentine’s Cards! YAY! GLUE AND STICKERS AND PAPER AND GLITTER! YAY!

Chris and I went to Dallas last weekend and found an apartment to live in and put down the deposit! We will be moving sometime around the end of April or the beginning of May. THIS IS VERY VERY EXCITING! I have no idea what we are going to do with all of our books.
